Integrated Planning and MS Analysis: Inserting new values

Hi gurus,

i'm trying to replicate the same features of an IP worksheet(based on BEx) to a MS Analysis(version 2.3) worksheet .

I can't find the way to insert new rows in which a Customer is not in BW master data: I created a ZCUSTOMER characteristic, but with Bex alalyzer it is possible to insert a non-master data value, while i can't do the same in Analysis worksheet (in ready-for-input rows , a question mark appears for match-code).

Is there a way or workaround to make it work?

thanx a lot

I experienced the same behaviour. In BEx analyzer it was possible to create new keys in the new lines if the Info Object was modelled without master data.

In AfO it seems that the system always checks against the master data even when the characteristic is modelled without master data. To me this seems to be a bug.

Are you using same ZCUSTOMER characteristic in BEx analyzer and AO?

Have you tried just typing in that new value?
