OpenDoc Webi : Delete access to "Open button"

Hi,

Sorry for my english...

Somebody knows a way to delete the access to the menu "open" for users WEBI (CF screenshot).

Justifications:

I am creating a new user account BI4.1 : Name =  "INTRANET"

This account will be use only to people "not using BO" of throw of states via our intranet (link OpenDocument)

I wish that these people can update the document, use controls, print and register(record) it pdf and Excel

For reasons of right, i don't want users have access to the button "Open document" because they could see documents for which they don't have to have access.

For information, I can't create so much account BO as of user, So user's gestion access WEBI Document will be in our "local Intranet"

Thank you in advance to any one who may be able to help me !

Hi ,

Create a user group with the users you want to provide access .

Use that group to grant access , assign No Access to those folders  . Even if they open , they could only see reports which they have access .

Thanks

Thanks for your response, i have already think about this solution but the probleme i'm confronted is the number of users and the combinaison's document's right i risk have to create.

So that's why i will prefere create right directly in my intranet solution and delete open access button.

Thanks

HI ,

it is recommended practice to assign access at group level , instead user level .Open access will be available as long as they at least have access to 1 report in BO and its mandatory .

however ,you can try customizing your groups access to webi . Select group->right click  ,Customization . play around and see .

Thanks
