Workflow-execute the Business Workplace workitems from explorer

Hi,

I have made a custome workflow with screens ,custom business object etc.Its working fine in R3.I am able to execute all my workitems through SAP business workplace.

Problem im facing is to execute them from ESS(Employee self service -login i.e ITS login).I created internet services fo all the transactions used in the workflow and published them also.i can see the workitem in ESS inbox but gives error when i click on execute workitem.Urgsent help is required.

It would help to tell us what error you are getting??? Exact text please.

Also PLEASE always give release/system details, i.e. which release/support pack of EP, which release/support pack of backend system.

Usually problems when executing from the UWL mean you have missed some config somewhere.

Have you:

a) Re-registered all of the work items in UWL Administration in the System Admin section of the portal.

b) Checked the XML generated by a) to see which launch hanlder is being used.

c) Checked in the Portal Content Directory to make sure that all critical config - such as the webserver:port for your ITS is configured against the relevant UWL launch handler.

d) Checked that your Internet Transaction Server is working correctly when called from the portal.
