PO line item data not populating properly in SOST

Hi all,

We are facing one issue in which PO got created with auto job creation on ME59n via PR and PO external send output got triggered, but email of PO sent to vendor having extra text added as "Item completely delivered" which was not expected, also in SOST it is showing with extra text but when we see print preview in me23n than it displays without the this text.

You should not compare "previews" with final output, previous are not WYSIWYG.

If you test output then output it. I am certain that the printed document is equal to your document in SOST.

If your output shows wrong information then go back to your developer.

Or compare it with SAP standard by changing the program and form in your output customizing back to the SAP standard.

Actually now we are not able replicate the same issue and when we trigger the output again, it is working fine, no extra line getting added.

So, it seems that you issue is solved here. Anyways adding on the above, I would like to mention that even if you do not release in ME29N, also say you have not saved in ME22N & put in Hold, then also you will see the Remarks-text in ME23N (display t-code). If it is not happening, that means your ABAP guy has missed something from the Standard code at modifying time.

Actually my system behaving in very random way, there were 2 instances, in first case it removed some PO lines from Email output but it is present in PO and in Print Preview, second one is what I have mentioned above, since it did not occur again so we are not able to replicate or blame ABAP guy.

Our PR to PO conversion process is fully automated, one job runs in every 15 min which converts the PR to PO and trigger the email output.

Still not clear what is happening here.

If it did not happen again, then there is no issue now, right?? So why worry & not put some attention on doing something good in other areas. If had not mentioned properly then only it could have happened in 1 case. Say in a vendor creation, in the refer person contact details, you forgot to mention email address & so similar will also not reflect. Better since the matter is no more, you close the issue here & start doing some other thing which can be a productive/innovative or say you have other issues also to take care of, then why not put the time on that?

Well I would love to do that, but don't you think I am concerned because my clients want it that, he doesn't want this random behaviour neither I.

Thank you for your advice, but I guess I will prefer doing innovative thing after fixing this.

"Item completely delivered" is a change text from table T166T

So you are not printing for a new PO, you are probably submitting a output from a changed PO.

And it also looks like you customized your output to show all items, even those which are already delivered, or this item had actually the change that triggered the output.
