DP80 error message VS 898

Hi,

Using DP80 transaction I am getting a VS 898 message. It's not in the SE91 messages. What does this mean?

Hi,

It's not in SE91. I am guessing somebody made standard modification in our system, so nobody will be able to answer this question.

Hello,

Please take a screenshot and also capture the error message by double clicking on the error message at the bottom. VS is for Master data error messages. Just want to see how the error message appeared whether as a standard screen or custom popup.

That's it:

    Message: VS898

Nothing else on the screen. I debugged it and it's a custom user-exit message. So again, sorry for the confusion, this topic must be solved internally.

Talk to your ABAP Team (or someone who has debug skills/rights) and ask them to debug the program until it stops at this message.

Then you can determine if its in one of your own developments, or an issue within SAP's code.

If it is an issue with SAP's code, then open an OSS Message and see what they recommend.
