Fiori Launchpad problem

Hello all,

I'm new on FIORI technology and I have installed the FIORI on ECC EHP7 following the URL .

I can login in the Fiori Launchpad and add some blocks, but when i click in any block nothing happens and i receive the error "Can't load the application, try latter"

Could you have any tip to solve this issue? I already see the logs from SMICM or /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE transaction, but I can't find some error.

Thanks in advanced,

Cleiton Folster Eli.

Hi Cleiton,

Please also check if you have activated the related SICF services (e.g. sra001_pcapproval).

Best Regards,

Jessie

Whe I go to the /n/iwfnd/error_log transaction I can see some errors:

No service found for namespace , name sra001_pcapproval, version 0001

No service found for namespace , name gbapp_prapproval, version 0001

No service found for namespace , name SRA021_SRV, version 0001

Could you tell me if this error can be the problem?

Thanks!

Hi Cleition,

Check if the above services are activated in /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE (for how to Activate and Maintain Services - SAP Gateway Foundation (SAP_GWFND) - SAP Library).

Is the right system alias is maintained or not (for how to )?

Ning

Hi Ning,

Thanks for the reply!

I can't find this services when I trying to activate him. I'm using a landscape with Embedded deployment but I created an system alias refering my client (EBBCLNT300) and I'm using this alias in the below services:

  • ZPAGEBUILDER_SERVICE_V_0_1
  • ZPAGE_BUILDER_CONF
  • ZPAGE_BUILDER_CUST
  • ZPAGE_BUILDER_PERS
  • ZQUICKVIEW
  • ZTRANSPORT
  • ZINTEROP
  • ZLAUNCHPAD

My components version is:

SAP_ABA        7400013
SAP_BASIS7400013
SAP_GWFND7400014
UIX01EAP1000010
UIX01HCM1000007
UIX01TRV1000008

I did the task lists too in the below URL:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_fiori_implementation_nw74/helpdata/en/bf/d1b053a647e842e10000000a4450e5/...

Could you help me to uderstand why this services are missing?

Thanks!!!

Hi Cleiton

Using embedded deployment means ALL services should be pointing to the LOCAL alias (Because they exist all in the one system). So, remove the EBBCLNT300 assignment and replace it with LOCAL. Make sure you have a LOCAL alias set up and it has the Local checkbox activated with the no RFC destination maintained (as it is the same system).

FYI - if you were running a different front end and back end system all of the above services you mentioned would still be set up assigned to LOCAL. It is only the backend services that would be assigned to the Alias representing the backend system.

Check this link out for more information.

Just take the LOCAL record into account from the screenshots.

Thanks

Hello Phil,

Thanks for the reply!

I changed all EBBCLNT300 assignment from the Services in transaction /n/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE and add the LOCAL alias to the below services:

  • ZPAGEBUILDER_SERVICE_V_0_1
  • ZPAGE_BUILDER_CONF
  • ZPAGE_BUILDER_CUST
  • ZPAGE_BUILDER_PERS
  • ZQUICKVIEW
  • ZTRANSPORT
  • ZINTEROP
  • ZLAUNCHPAD

But the erros happens yet. Follow the configurations from the System Alias:

Hi Ning,

Thanks for the reply!

When I try to install this component I receive the messages: "Component IW_BEP is already retrofitted into component version SAP_GWFND rel.740"

Best regards,

Hi Cleiton

Which component are you trying to install?

Ning was right in that it was not clear which App backend components were loaded. Please share if possible. The UI packs you detailed above are FRONT-END packs, so you will need to load the BACKEND packs as well.

Also, when you have maintained each service and assigned the LOCAL alias click on the Call Browser icon for each and every service you listed. This will basically generate each service. When it generates you should see the metadata of the service in a browser. This will effectively enable the service.

Thanks & Regards
