Cross docking in EWM wrt to Quality

Dear Experts,

I tried to find out some information on the Web about cross docking in EWM wrt Quality check aka (Supplier cross docking in ERP).

The scenario is like below goods will come from supplier- Quality check will happen for samples and then goods will be moved to other warehouse.

As in EWM  cross docking we dont do Quality check, Does EWM supports this scenario in Standard ??

Any suggestions or feedback will be appreciated.

I do understand  that we dont have QI check in opportunistic cross docking, But my question is in Transportation cross docking of EWM, Can we do a Custom confif  same as TCD of EWM and it should work as a supplier cross docking of ERP( i.e It should go to QI).

Do you know if this has been done before for any Clients ?

Please  advice further.

Hi Aloka,

In EWM cross docking one of the condition is that goods/HU's should not be QI relevant as per standard.

Hello,

In SAP Help it mentioned that "For the cross-docking, EWM only considers inbound delivery items for which goods receipt has been confirmed. EWM does not consider inbound delivery items that are relevant for the quality inspection."
