Hi Experts,
It's been eating at me all afternoon and I'm pretty sure I'm missing something obvious, right in front of me.
One of my customers have created a new Item Master Data, it essentially mirrors all their other settings aside from the code, and the item cost, but when they try to put the item in for example, an AR Invoice, the price doesn't automatically locate itself and remains blank. Please see the images below. I've tried it with different BPs, tried playing around with the item master data just to change a few random fields that could help but nothing. No price shows up. Any ideas on what I'm so blindly missing?
Image 3 is an example (Random BP, but same result every time) where the price is simply missing. It's the same set up on the master data as their other products, tried using the actual "Unit Price" on the master data to no luck.
Kind Regards,
Jamie

Hi,
Check whether the item in question is assigned the price in Base Price.

Hi,
1. The unit price field will be updated automatically when you set price in price list. In your case, from item master data, i can see there is no unit price added.
2. Item cost will be displayed under item cost field. To view, go to form settings and make item cost as visible.
Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for your comments! I probably did bad by using the image I did, but I had previously set the price list. I was experimenting at the time of that image, so unfortunately that wasn't the issue.
I did add the Item Cost form, but then I realised I had to modify the layout templates to make it show. Fortunately, I found a way to get the price to show by doing the method I replied to Julie with.

Jamie
Have you set a price for the item in the price list?

Hi Julie,
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I did, however, I've figured it out now. I had tried the suggestions given, but still had no result. I did end up playing on a test server about the issue I had and all I had to do was:
Change the valuation method from what it was meant to be to something else. Save it, close it, reopen the item and change the valuation method back and then add the prices again. Then it worked.
Not sure what happened!
Regards,
Jamie
