Sap Dataservices integration with Elastic Search

Hi,

I have a requirement Using Data Services to pull the Data from Oracle DB and stage/transform the data & then load to Elastic Search.

I have no idea about Elastic search, I goggled it and its kind of search engine for documents(kind of Nosql DB).

Does Data Services have inbuilt adapters to connect with elastic search? please suggest.

If not is there any way to load the data to Elastic search.

Hi Lalitha,

I just googled about Elastic search. It supports JSON over HTTP.

Looking at your requirement it seems that the jobs will be realtime. Based on the input(search), the job will pull data from oracle which will be outputted through JSON after stage/transformation is done on the data.

The current version of the BODS support JSON format of input and output.

Hi AJ,

Thanks a lot for your info. Until unless i start installing the JSON adapters and try sending the data through it, I may not know the challenges since i am working on this for first time. Please Let me know is there documents that for Outputting data through JSON using DS.
