Connection timedout error in SFTP sender

Former Member

Hi All,

we are migrating from PI to PO which is in development state.

we have opened ports to vendors same as PI in PO also, able to connect through TELNET and CoreFTP.

But when trying from application it is saying as connection timedout.

we have installed TMG firewall client version which is working in PI landscape.

checked with network team, rules are same as PI.

kindly share your views regarding this error.

Thanks,

Krishna Battula.

Krishna,

Required firewall setup changes made at third party end too ? are they allowing your new IP into their network.

Check with Third party once.

Hi Manoj,

Yeah we are going through the same public IP, so i think it is not a problem.

Hi Krishna,

Log says target IP is 0.0.0.0, i think you configured host name in the channel and host name is not resolve to correct IP address.

Praveen.

Hi Praveen,

yeah, we are maintaining host name.

we have also maintained IP address in channel to check, but the same error.

address 0.0.0.0 is local not target.

Thanks n Regards,

Krishna Battula.

Hi Krishna,

Log viewer itself giving connection refused that means some network problem in PO system, speak to basis or network team about this.

Praveen.

Hi Krishna,

Try add a rule to the firewall setup to open up any port number between specific IP addresses. Hope It  will work.

Gaurav
