Pointing URL using Opendoc into specific tab in another webi report

HI All,

I have got two reports A and B linked using opendoc. Report A has got two fields revenue, assets and report B has got two tabs with the details of revenue in one tab and other with the details of assets. My question is clicking on revenue field in report A should land me in the details of revenue in report B and the same with assets . Is it possible in webi ??( I know it's possible if I use document linking and chose the specific report, is it possible with opendoc??

Please do not create duplicate discussions for one question, like this one.

Coming back to your question, yes, its possible, follow the below steps:

1. Create 2 optional prompts in the report B on Revenue and Assets fields.
2. In Report A, create Opendocument hyperlink on Revenue column, and modify the opendoc link by adding sReportName parameter as &sReportName=RevenueTab (from report B). Check out page 26 (at the end) and 27 (in the beginning) for its syntax in this guide. Updated the doc link: https://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/sbo41/en/sbo41_opendocument_en.pdf
3. In Report A, create Opendocument hyperlink on Assets column, and modify the opendoc link by adding sReportName parameter as &sReportName=AssetsTab (from report B).
