Background job macro not saving data

Hi All,

Background job macro not saving data

We are getting the error message in log like No data has been changed data must not be saved

so data is not updating in the planning book

What could be the reason for this please suggest.

Hi Amol,

i checked the mentioned question

Below mentioned sentence is the answer for it

The input flag was not checked for history horizon in planning book design. That's why macro was executing properly but not saving values.

Can you help me in how to check the input flag in planning book book design.

Hi Shree,

Please check the Planning Area in MSDP_ADMIN - Change Key Figure Settings - See the Key Figure and check the column Historical Data Not Changeable - if the flag is not checked - enable it and then save the changes.

Run the consistency check again for the planning area and then check if macro is working fine now.

This flag should be on our data view design. Please refer the following screen shot.
