Wrong Partner ID associated with Employee


We have migrated data from EC system to C4C. There are inconsistencies in data where inactive Employee ID are assigned as Business Partner ID to active employees.

Eg. Person A(100) is being assigned with BP ID as Person B (101) who is an inactive employee. I am not able to change the Business Partner ID's nor status.

Any suggestion would be appreiciated!! Its really urgent.

    • Hi Srilatha,

      When an Employee is created through any of the available ways, system creates a Business Partner ID.

      This Employee and Business Partner are directly linked. When you check the Business Partner, you can find the role as Employee. Clicking that will open the same Employee.

      It is not possible to have more than one Employee for a single Business Partner. It is also possible that the IDs of the Business Partner and Employee may differ but that is expected.

      If you find that two employees referring to a Single Business Partner then report an incident.
