Custom duty calculation error

Hi Friends,

I have encountered with a peculiar scenario where Customs duty calculation is not happening for second line item

This customs duty is showing error when we use Incoterm Other than FOB

the error message is attached

i tried to check the Function module /SAPSLL/LEGAL_TLC_DIST_ALG ,but i am not able to figure it out the relation between Incoterm and Calculation.

Is this standard behaviour or i need to find for some exit/ code specific to INCOTERM?

please guide me how to resolve it

Hi Raj,

From a look at the code, I think the error is being issued because you are trying to distribute negative header values.

That check has been introduced in the recent release(s), and I'm not sure it would always make sense.  For example, if the Incoterms are CIF, you'd want to subtract some of the freight charges to arrive at the value for customs.

If that is what's happening, and you feel justified, you could create an OSS Incident.
