Start job in Business objects data services variant in SAP BW

Dear All,

I am using "Start job in Business objects data services variant" variant in BW process chaib for send the data via OHD to BODS.

When i transport the process chain from BW Dev to BW Quality system TR got failed due to  "Source system doesnt exist" error.

I have checked BW-Quality to BODS connection and working as expected. When i moved the process chain then i am facing this issue.

Could you please let us know if any one face this type of issue.

Hi Chinna,

You are saying that the open hub destination which you created in Dev is fine but while transporting you are getting error "Source System does not exist" this is there may be you are using "different source system connection Names", The Admin people there are maintaining source systems connections for Development and Quality,

Please check it and confirm from your basis side.

We could transported open hub destinations successfully into quality system.

The problem with that Variant only.

That variant helps to push the data from OHD to BODS when you execute the process chain. In process chain i have included " Start job in Business objects data services variant" and passing the required parameters those are Destination (BODS) repository name and server name and Job name.

Please let us know if you faced this type of issues/scenarios.
