Unable to Launch ESR and ID from Netweaver from New Laptop

Hello Experts,

I am facing this issue with the launching of Enterprise Service Repository and Integration Builder from my New Laptop.

The laptop came with Java 8  and it was unble to launch the ESR and ID  So i Uninstalled that and Install Java 6.

Exhibit  shows the Java Installations

Now when i try to Open it Tries to Download it stays on like that for around 5 mins then Shows Unable to launch Application for all 3 servers

Please find the screenshots below.

Please help, cannot do any changes or development

Hi Promit,

Security settings in Java 8 Update 101 are not allowing to launch ESR and in some cases both ESR and ID. Ask your Admin to install Java 6 Update 32 or Update 45 which are proven.

Recent version Java 7 Update 80 also supports PI Apps.

In my case I worked with Java 8 Update 73 which was good.

And when Java 8 Update 101 is installed, It messed up.

Hi Promit,

Check  java version on your system, also check with basis team for correct java version of PI JavaWebStart.

Try to delete java cache from control pannel-java-views.
