Merge Dimension to get objects from different Universes

Former Member

Hello All,

I have requirement to get the objects from different Universes and I have a common object between these two Universes.

I have Merged the dimension and tried to create block. First I dragged the Merged dimension and objects from 1st Universe. But When  I try to add the objects from 2nd Universe I see incompatible object.

How do i get all the objects including Merge dimension in one block?

I tried creating detail object based on the Merge dimension object but did not work. I also tried creating variable using ForceMerge function.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Best regards,

Ranjith

have you associate the detail variable to merged object in the variable screen?

Also try to create all as detail variable which are not merged and try.

try one thing.Create two detail variable one from query 1 and one from query 2.

Drag Merged object along with these two and see.

Hi Amit,

I tried creating all detail variables but no luck. Now I see #MULTI_VALUE Error.

Please suggest to resolve this.

Thank you,

Hi Ranjith,

What are the other columns in the table? Also, can you share a screenshot of Available Objects by Arranging by Query, so we can see which objects are retrieved by different query, that way we'll know the granularity of data.

You see that #Multivalue error when the data coming from different queries in not at the same level of granularity.

How many Quote Numbers do you have for one Opportunity Number? If yes, then obviously you'll get #Multivalue error as its trying to show 2 different Quote Numbers related to one Opportunity Number in just one cell. Make sense?

Thanks,
