SSO between EP and BW giving log off message, how to get rid off?

SSO between EP and Bw system using logon tickets working fine, but giving logoff message whenever we switch between 2 reports. its not happening everytime we switch, but sometimes it is happening.

You have been successfully logged off from SAP Web Application Server.

I have implemented sso using logon tickets and its working perfectly.

But sometime when I navigate from one BW query report to other query report, it shows me this log off message, not every time but yes sometimes it happen.

I have seen same problem in case of external ITS also.

How to avoid this?

Hi,

We generally set Patameters 1 & 2. please set parameter 3.

SSO Logon Ticket Parameters

Parameter Description

1. login/accept_sso2_ticket Allows or locks the logon using SSO ticket.

2. login/create_sso2_ticket

Allows the creation of SSO tickets.

3. login/ticket_expiration_time

Defines the validity period of an SSO ticket.

Hi Divakar,

default value of this parameter is 60 hours.

So i dont thinnk it will help.

when i am switching from one report to other report it is not askinng me user/pass again, only point is sometimes that screen appears.

How to avoid that?

Any idea?

i guess the issue is with the Session timeout parameter value of sap/bw/BEx node in sicf. whats the current value?

it is 00:00:00.

you have to change it to some meaningful time period. for example in our system its 4 hrs

also you may have to set the profile paramters

icm/keep_alive_timeout

I have set this to 4 hrs.

and i have changed this parameter to icm/keep_alive_timeout=1(infinite)

but still same problem persists

either that message appears or some time screen comes as blank ....

what to do?

Anybody any idea...?
