Hi,
I am extending the standard Model. I copied the Software component into a Custom software component and started the modification in the model. I created a new structure with 4 fields and then added this new Structure as a node in the model and all configurations are done in ESH_MODELER.
Logic also implemented in the BADI to populate the custom fields however the new fields are not showing up in the Web-Dynpro application ( Component configuration of the FPM application ). To show-up the new fields in the search screen to search the values from Trex database, we need to add the custom fields in the Web-dynpro component but the custom structure fields are not appearing on the Web-Dynpro configuration.
I did one enhancement where i added 2 custom fields to the standard Node ( Append structure to the standard structure and added the custom fields ) and these custom fields showed up in the Web-Dynpro configuration and i added them in the search criteria ( wed-dynpro configuration) and showed up on the Search screen.
Any help is appreciated.
Any help to find out a BADI to add the custom Node and Custom fields which will show up on the FPM component configuration.

Hi Sudheer
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/EN/2b/6cf88264334c3d8ab05b7afe41fb70/content.htm
In the above URL, it is mentioned how to create customer specific search criteria for ERP SD application.
You have to add the new fields to structure WSD_MS_INPUT_FIELDS.
Then please check whether You have specified search and display parameters in Customizing for Logistics - General by choosing Material Master-> Enhanced Material Search with Material Creation-> Specify Search and Display Parameters for Material Search
Thanks and Best Regards

Hi Sudheer,
Just some more additional info - I don't know whether you need this. In erp there is enhanced materiaal search. There are 2 types of enhanced material search -
1. Search engine Service
2. Netweaver enterprise search
I dont know which one you use, but read the blog below, which is related to your question.
Thanks and Best Regards
