Webdynpro for JAVA is not displayed in portal theme.

Dear experts.

We serve Webdynpro for JAVA application and Webdynpro for ABAP in our EP(7.31 SP15).

After applying EP patch, WDJ application is not displayed in portal theme.

But WDA application is displayed in portal theme.

So I checked with fidder.

I found 404 error while getting the WDJ application's CSS URL is like this http://domain:port/com.sap.portal.design.urdesigndata/themes/portal/sap_chrome/UR/ls/sap_chrome/ie6....

But WDA application that is displayed portal theme, CSS URL is like this

http://domain:port/com.sap.portal.design.urdesigndata/themes/portal/sap_chrome/ls/ls_ie6.css

I set the sap_chrome theme to the user, so detail navigation area displayed in sap_chrome theme.

But cotent area that shows WDJ application 's theme is sap_tradeshow_plus like this.

I think WDJ application's css url is something wrong,

How can I fix this issue?

Hi,

Since your first sample URL is 404 on my server,

I guess you can report an issue, i mean, send a message to SAP for help (service.sap.com).

Some checking points:

Does your EP's original content display good? Like content admin, user admin.

And does your NWDS version consistent with new EP version?

And have you tried to create a new webdynpro iview after upgrading?

Try to set sap.useWebDynproStyleSheet = true in the WD runtime settings:

--> Configuring the Web Dynpro Runtime Environment - Developing Java Web Dynpro Applications - SAP Libra...

after that clean cache and restart browser.

I tried that your guide.

The 404 error is not found(while getting the WDJ application) in Fiddler.

But, WDJ application's theme is sap_tradeshow_plus like before. and WDJ application's CSS URL is like this.

http://domain:port/com.sap.ui.lightspeed/themes_v2//UR/ls/sap_tradeshow_plus/ie6.css

I want to show Webdynpro for JAVA application with portal theme(sap_chrome)

but, WDJ application is displayed default theme(sap_tradeshow_plus).

Do you have any idea?

Hi,

May be the theme has been corrupted. Restart the server , it will regenerate the themes.
