Kanban replenishment

Hi Gurus,

We are using standard kanban replenishment with warehouse management (strategy -0006). One is warehouse managed and the kanban location is non-Warehouse managed. The clienty have a requirement that whenever the container is empty , it should replenish only one batch from warehouse eventhough we have stock in another batch to fill the container quantity. i.e The Replenishment TR/TO  should have partial quantity and still make the container  "FULL".

Is it possible through standard solution?

Hi

You may use transaction PK21/PKBC to enter the partial quantity to field 'Actual quantity' and select the radio button 'Full', click enter and save. The system can there fore set status Full with the partial quantity.

Thanks for your reply. I have consulted with SAP. They give me this suggestion.

in LT12, if you mark the "close TR" then, it confirms the TO with difference and  also make the container FULL.

Hi,

As PK13N/PK21/PKBC confirms the TO in background, there is no chance to raise a popup make users to dispatch the quantity to several lines. Entering the quantity as the same as one of the batch doesn't make sense to identify the exact line item as the system doesn't determine the line item by quantity.

The only one I can think out is confirm the TO in WM transaction like LT12, then correct the kanban status by transaction PK31.

Thanks for your reply. It is working fine if you have only one line item in a TO. If the TO has two line items with each line item have a qty of 3 and 2 with two batches as per my requirement system should confirm only one line item and make the container FULL.

If I try to use PK21 in this scenario, I am getting error as " TO cannot have two lien items" as I am entering the quantity as 3 ( equal to first line item in the TO).

How can we resolve this?
