How to get the External ID using the Product ID?

Hello experts, The customer requires that a BO can be imported using either the Product ID or the External ID. Once imported, whichever one was not supplied must be generated from the other. When imported using the external Id I can get the product ID, this is fine. However, my question is: When I have the Product ID, how can I get the External ID?
