Can't install a standard edition trial to upgrade a personal edition free

Hi,

we  install SAP Lumira 1.31 build 121 on a Pc that already had a personal edition free.

We uninstall the old version (1.25) e install the new 1.31.

It seems to be the right version (in Help -> About Lumira we see 1.31.0 build 121)  but  in Enter Keycode we already see the description "Sap Lumira Personal Edition free").

When we try to create a new dataset , the link "Query whit SQL" is disable.

The downloaded executable is the right one, because on another pc we installed it and we have the "Standard Edition Trial".

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Hi Daniela

Please check in Add | remove and see if there is a versions of Lumira noted in there - other than Lumira 1.31. If there is remove that, uninstall 1.31 and reinstall 1.31.

Hi Ludek,

thanks for your suggestion.

We already do that more than one time.

We also delete all registry key that refers to Lumira before the reinstallation of 1.31.

Maybe there's another registry key about Lumira Version?

Let's try this:

  • Shut down Lumira.
  • Find the file general.persistent in the following directory: C:\Users\<user ID>\.sapvi\preferences\
  • Rename the file to general.old.
  • Restart Lumira.
