Hi,
I have installed SAP EP 6 NW04 SR1 (SP9)
when i access it using the URL, the portal language is german. i can personalise the language to english but the problem is, the login page is still in german.
Anyone knows how to set this.

The login language depends on the Language setting in the browser.
Goto Tools -> Internet option -> Languages (at the bottom), remove German (de) and add English.
Refresh the screen and the language displayed should be english.

i already have english only. is there any setting to set master language where i have kept default and i need to change to EN

Look at the following lines :

This is the default language to be used when none is specified
request.defaultlanguage=en
If you prefer to have the same language for all users no matter their user locale, change the lines to this :
request.mandatorylanguage=en
request.mandatorycountry=us
