ALZSN is not taken in account

Hello gurus,

i have a problem with defect in QF01 for serialized material.

BF aerospace & defence is active. Customizing is set so zero before SN are significant.

When i want to add a defect to a material with SN 00150, in QF01 the SN into the matchcode is 150 (instead of 00150). Furthermore, when i select the SN, i have the following error message : Serial number 150 cannot be used in inspection lot (QF034).

i have checked data element. In QF01, data element use conversion routine alpha instead of conversion routine GERNR. Consequences, 0 in SN are not taken in account and i have the error message.

Do you know any solution to this problem?

i've found the solution, we need to apply note 1443962. we need to change the conversion routine from ALPHA to GERNR for data element QSERIALNR.

Can you set the SN number range to start at 10000 so that you have no leading zeros?
