CR 2008. Display BLOB into report

I wish to load a generic BLOB file stored in a table.

Dragging the query field into the report, only pictures are displayed. if BLOB contains other generic documents (ie: PDF, Excel sheets, Word documents), nothing appears.

Is there a way to embed generic BLOBs into my report?
