Internet Service is not showing any Screen when i do test run using SICF Tcode

Hi Experts ,

I Created an Internet Service using HTML Templates of Module pool Screens and i Published that Internet service.

Then i configure this Internet Service in SICF Tcode .

After Configuration done, Activate the Configuration and did Test Run .

Then it navigates to IE Browser with generated Link and asks login details.

After providing Login Details :

1) IN Dev Server : It is working fine and showing all screen and Navigation from one screen to another has been done Perfectly...

BUT...

2) IN PRD Server : We Transport all Objects which we have been developed in DEV Server into PRD Server.

Here i got the problem when i test run the ITS Service using the Tcode : SICF ...

It Navigates to IE Browser with Generated Link and asks Login Details.

After Providing Login Details it shows nothing...Instead of showing Screens it shows as below Screen shot....

After Pressing Log on Button it will shown as ...

Small icon is Displaying instead of Showing Screens which i Designed in Module Pool...

In Development it was working fine but Problem in PRD Server...

Tell me... if i missed any procedure OR if i need to do any Configuration in PRD Server(SICF) to resolve this kind of issues... or is there any Basis Related Configuration Required ..

Give me the Solution for this ....

Hi ,

I think you know that marking at least 1 answer correct means your basic issue got resolved and the answer that you have marked as correct is the exact solution for your basic issue & it makes the discussion in that particular discussion-thread stop right there marking as your base issue solved. Just out of curiosity, I thought for a moment, that your basic issue was regarding the WEBGUI, so is it solved by now? I mean for that purpose only in the last steps we asked for help for adding BASIS tags to this issue. I mean if the basic issue was solved, then indulging was really not required. Anyways hope now issue closed means your webgui matter solved and any further discussion for the webgui would not be required, right? Just out of curiosity wanted to make sure.

Still that issue is not resolved...

Just because they are giving suggestion On Tags... that's why i liked that Comment that's it...

I need some valuable suggestions from Basis Experts... Regarding ITS Services...which is our First Discussion...in this page

Just for your info, that tag matter, if you would have posted by creating a separate thread & thereover only if you would have marked as Correct, then I think it would have been more appropriate. Anyways back in the original issue game, What is your issue status from the BASIS point now? Because you are not giving the required info, that's why I am not able to get the proper pic of your issue status or else would have sorted by now. Tell your BASIS person to give you all t-codes authorization(SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW, S_A.SYSTEM authorization profiles assigned to your SAP User Id) & then you make sit the BASIS person of your company beside you & follow my instructions accordingly.

That was my 1st instruction to get all t-codes authorisation to your SAP User id. Can you 1st get it from your BASIS person or not? If not, it is very difficult for anyone to provide help.

Same issue which i faced in PRD, is already some one posted into SCN see this below link...

there some notes he gave....

DEV and QAS working fine But in PRD he got the problem...

Exactly same thing i faced in ITS Services... in PRD

In ST22 i have the same thing which he mentioned in his post....

Check the above link ... it would be helpful to resolve our issue...

That is why only I asked for you to have a Super User login, do you have that till now so that we can work on the case? I am sure if you ask your basis person he will definitely would have provided or else he would have solved the matter till now. I know the issue very well, that is why I wanted to take you through Step by Step. Because if I will start the informing you the activity & you will not be able to execute because of small matter like authorisation issue then, it would make the scenario very irritating. Trust me, I have been into freelancing & this kind of matter is just nothing to me. We just need to work step by step carefully, thats it. What is mentioned in that thread is partially true, but how will you check properly all these without having the relevant authorisation?

I agree with what you are saying ,

But i am an abaper so basis guys are not supposed to providing those details at any cost...

If possible they will solve from their end only...

That thing you know very well than me...as a Basis guy you are not supposed to share all authorizations to your Colleagues who worked on other than Basis...that was the main problem.

Just learning purpose i got some information in this discussion...

and i update this discussion to my colleagues...they all are working over there using the tips on this discussion...

I learnt some new things on basis side regarding this kind of issue.... from experts like you

I think this one you yourself also will be able to get with the minimum level of authorization, let me know what you see in those fields, also SM50

I Check the status of my PRD System...

Tell me one thing, from your previous post Screen shot ...

SAP_BASIS ----- 700 you highlighted...

and

Kernal Release you highlighted but you hide that one... its ok ...

my question is ...it should be match with SAP_BASIS Number ...?

if it should be match, then in my PRD system it was not...matching ,

Coming to SM51 see the below Screen shot ...

And Coming to SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL ...it is used for publish all services which are in active mode in our system...it was run in background only, after that one popup will come with list of activated ITS in SAP...I think it was already done by BASIS Team..

I Checked this Status Like SAP_BASIS and Kernal in DEV also....

Same to same what ever there in DEV it was there in PRD also ....

Dev SAP_BASIS          = PRD SAP_BASIS

Dev KERNAL Release = PRD Kernal Release

See it is called not co-ordinating, if you do not reveal your versions, even I do not know your company or your location, because every versions are having different features, if you want to know on your own then you have to read a lot of materials for that. You are not specifying my simple question answers. Because every version has different issues too. So it all depends. In the beginning of my career also, I was not revealing any thing to anyone fearing that I might leak my company information. But you got to understand that you are not willing to give the very basic info also, no one can get you any help. Most important you are doing for just an additional feature for your company maybe this WEBGUI matter, but in our real world, when at career start-up when I am not able to resolve an issue in time then would receive words from my higher management & obviously then would have to give all required info to anyone who can resolve the matter because the job getting completed was the main priority for me. Perhaps you are not realizing this fact because here in SCN, we are providing free volunteering services & that is why from the last reply, you just tried to give some hint not also answer all the questions. Better do one thing, you pressurize your BASIS person & if he gets in between another issue in between executing this job, then you report back here.

What is you SAP_BASIS No & the Kernel release? In sm51, you can see all the servers, so you need to carry out this whole activity in all these servers separately & then SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL seperately in all the servers, In SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL, there should be no errors also.

In below the kernel, there is a Support Package Level, what is the no, value there? In the sm51 screen, all the servers that you have shown, did you run this webgui process activity & run this SIAC_PUBLISH_ALL_INTERNAL??

Hi Kaushik,

PRD Configuration is not supporting for our HTML Templates which we generate for each screen of module pool. There is a chance to resolve this issue from BASIS Side or IT Side .

But yesterday i searched in SCN lot of Posts Regarding this issue ...

I got one post..

It says PRD is not supporting your Templates but your DEV is working fine...

In that post he provide one hint...

Hint : Change your Template style as like below...then it will work...

      STYLE:  MOBILE4

Then Check, it will definitely work over in your DEV Server....I am pretty Sure about that...

But Check in PRD Server, hope it will work in PRD also.....

Like that i saw in one of our SCN Forum...

Just now i changed those things...

I checked in DEV Server it was working fine as usual... 

Now It was ready to import into PRD....

So i will let you know the status of the issue....

Good News...Its Working...!

I am very much relaxed now...

The thing is Templates, when ever we generate using Module Pool Screens, if the style is generated as Old one like

STYLE = MOBILE

We need to change as MOBILE4

Because New versions are not supporting Old Style...

I read in the Note...

like 742 Version is New one, so we need to provide Advanced STYLE...

Any ways issue is resolved...Cooool

I am very much thankful to you Kaushik.. Because till i reached the solution you are supporting me and gave such a nice information...

One thing is sure from basis side also we can Resolve this kind of issue...

But i am unable to access all tcodes which you asked before...that's why yesterday i put a lot of time on SCN Forums and finally we reach the goal...

Good to know that its working with after all the efforts you have provided. Also will specify that you became successful doing the BASIS work after being an ABAP-er. Also now through this issue you have learnt when to close a discussion-thread & how to close a thread by marking correct/helpful answers. Anyways just to inform you, marking your own answers does not give you any point, but helps others to get to a proper solution when the others also face the same issue & do come by this discussion-thread for their issue solution. Anyways apart from marking your own answer as Correct, there is another option to close a thread by selecting " Mark as Assumed Answered " option on the top of the discussion( beside thread name/topic ).

And i know how to end the discussion but in our discussion, TAG topic is came... For that topic you people gave some solution that's why i Just Liked that one but unfortunately it was selected as correct answer...i don't know why it was selected as a Correct answer...

Hope that configuration is done properly, if not can follow,

Also note:- that once you login like this in GUI through web, it might reflect in the normal SAPGUI as RFC login which can be checked at SM04. Generally once in one system you enter login details, next time might not require to enter again because the login is already running in RFC like I told can be viewed in SM04 or AL08.

Also Note: You can, in this way, access from out of your company if your domain for this SAP purpose is registered.

Okay, so like you have mentioned that in your system you have logged in successfully for the development system, so could you try the PRD login in any of your colleagues system, My guess here is that the system is remembering the DEV login as informed in the above conversations. If its running properly in your colleage system then, you need terminating those RFC in SM04 of DEV & then restart of your sytem. But in case, its not working, then I would suggest that the same steps you can carry out in PRD directly as you have got confirmation that those steps work very well for you because by transporting its very much likely to happen that the simulation at the last phase as shown in the document might not have happened & so the result like this. Another thing would like to know that whether your PRD system is in clustered or Distributed or just a single-central system, If clustered or distributed like this, then should have done the simulation in all the systems.

And you mentioned Clustered or Distributed there in your discussion , how to know that weather our system is Clustered or Distributed and who will do the simulation process.

Do you have a BASIS person or you are the BASIS person there for this job, Is there more than 1 production system/servers-assigned? The simulation is also shown in that document which is suppossed to be carried out by the BASIS personnel of that company. For you development system, you did the simulation or someone else did? If saying without simulation it worked, then the simple conclusion is for the development earlier also this process applied & that is why its running with the development system. And in your friends system, you said, its not working & also I hope that you and your friend is in the same LAN of your office LAN network. In this scenario, inform your network team to make the Port No. available as PUBLIC. The port no for the correspondence system reflects in the IE-URL that you posted in the beginning.

Myself being a full-time BASIS person, I am very much familiar with this kind of issues. Anyways hope it gets solved by your BASIS persons or else tell your BASIS to post update or you can also share an update, if any issues coming after that also. As far as I know, There is no modification required from ABAP side for this.

I tested this in ST22 there, It says in main template have some syntactical errors or not set the theme..

Then my question is how it works in DEV not in PRD...?

1st as I asked earlier do you have 1 or more that 1 systems assigned for PRD? Could you ask your BASIS person to open client in PRD SCC4 & then run the simulation. Now also as far as I see its a problem for the BASIS person to work closely with the OS support & Network support-team. Anyways out of curiosity, Do you have a QA system to run this check & Did you run through making Internet Explorer as the default browser? Try page refresh F5 & clearing the browsing history, caches & temp files. Is it the same running on your BASIS person's system? Would also like to know what is your SAP version where you are implementing this solution.

Directly we go to SICF and Filter our Internet Service and Right Click that one and select the

Test Run our Service....

Then it will open IE by default with automatically generated Link...

There it will ask Uname and PWD..

After providing these details ....that Error screen shot is came which i posted in previous post ...

1 way to know about PRD systems is you run SM51 or AL08. This is where our basic journey for BASIS-careers start.

Its working in DEV as I earlier stated that this procedure was earlier also implemented in your that development system & hence again running for DEV system without errors. But it was not made run for your PRD system. In general for our PRD systems, from network side, the ports will keep limited open as its risky in getting the production details out of the company, not so much in case of development or QA systems

1st is you are to completely assign this issue to the BASIS persons for example, RZ10 parameters:-In the URL, determine ms_http(s)_port by the value of parameter ms/server_port_<xx>. As it is not an ABAP job so you just put on a BASIS person's head & try pinging for the result every time. Then he would, I think really have a good look into the matter as because this matter is nowhere related to a ABAP-er's job. Later on if the BASIS person feels then he can obviously take the OS team support, that matter is on him. For example, in my company, my SAP Servers OS matters also I only would login to check. So it depends. You just put some more pressure on the BASIS person, its very basic thing that we, as a BASIS career starting, for a BASIS person must & should know.

Its just a little bit pressuring to the BASIS from your side is required. You just assign the issue to him & tell to inform you once & only if he fixes the issue properly.

So, Lets see or else the details that I asked, you provide & then only I can give you the exact pic where to go according to our BASIS operational procedures.

No, my friend, you are supposed to read properly on How to Use SCN & How to Start a Discussion on SCN. The pointed thing that you marked, you will see in every comments we make, but In the same pic that you marked, above that is Update Tags option is there, there you need to add more basis tags. In your case, You could find where you just started this discussion thread, not the end of this page.

I am not sure why you do not have the tag option, I believe that it is related to the discussion settings or space settings.

I am pretty sure that your profile settings are ok.

As we are soon moving away from this platform I would not put too much thought into it.

I can see the tags option because I am a SCN System Admin.

Thanks for providing the assistance in the required time for the User. As the SCN is getting transformed to the New-SCN Beta, so I can understand for any unnecessary modification for particularly at this moment. The thing is our friend here is an ABAP person & he posted a complete BASIS topic which I was helping till further as being a BASIS person. So for getting better in-lights on this topic as well as the user better exposure in SCN, could you add/post/transfer through BASIS forum or else add some basic tags like BASIS, BASIS_ADMIN, BASISADMINISTRATION, ICM, WEBGUI_CONFIGURATION_CHECK, WEBGUI.

This issue, from my experience, is the issue with the browser. Can you just copy the link what is appearing in Internet Explore & then paste in any other browser like Mozilla Firefox?

The Last loading button showing as X(Cross) is due to Adobe Flash properly installation matter.

Please Note: Google Chrome does not require a flash player to display those things, its in-built.

This is a simple matter related to OS. Any OS expert can easily point out & help you regarding this matter.

But the same thing perfectly worked in DEV Server generated Link.. On Both IE and Chrome..

If this issue is regarding OS or Flash player then same should not be run on DEV Server Generated Link...

I am expecting some BASIS Configuration Required... I am not sure
