User Interface Restart

Hello Everyone,

We have a user that is using the RUI with the latest versions of Chrome and consistently receives User interface Restart messages, even after they check yes. It seems to be localized to when they open a New Meeting. For this user, we have had the user update their bookmark, clear their cache and increased the cache size. Has anyone else had this issue or any other troubleshooting thoughts?

Hi Ashley,

RUI uses tablet tagged floorplans and HTML5 uses the standard floorplans. So if the user is using

RUI and HTML5 on the same browser, user might see this message often. Please ask the user to use only RUI on say browser Chrome and HTML5 on browser IE. These errors should become less frequent. Also, the key user of the tenant could be making changes to the floorplans like adding/removing fields, reports etc. Even in this case the user will get this popup.

If everything is fine but still user faces these please report an incident to SAP.

Hi Suresh,

This user is exclusively working within the RUI. We have the in-tenant reporting enabled for performance monitoring so we know there isn't any switches between the differing UIs happening. We have created an incident regarding the issue but we have yet to resolve the issue.

Hi Suresh, I often heard about "floorplan" (especially in incident regarding page layout), but I never really understood completely what does it means...

Hello Michele,

"Floorplan" is technical word used to define any type of screen.

So in layman terms it means "Screen"

Thanks Saurabh, in many incidents SAP support has used this word as a sort of "miracolous link" that solves all issues
