Support Pack - Upgrade Issue.

Hello ,

My Name is Premkishan. I am a BASIS Admin .

We have two ERP 2004 SAP System Installed (ECC 5.0).

1) IDES ECC 5.0

2) SANDBOS ECC 5.0

I have carried out the Support Pack upgrade activity on IDES and it went thru successfull without any issues. Now I am currently trying out to carry the same activity on the SANBOX Server but facing problems in that.

I am unable to verify and resolve why the Support pack imports are not being updated in the System-status.

Actually we need to Uprgrade the SAP APPL to 11 level and SAP HR to 17 Level. For all these the pre-requisites are SAP BW(Level 15) & SAP BASIS(Level 15)+SAP ABAP(Level 15)Support Pack .

I have imported the SAP BASIS 15 and it went thru successfull and is visible in the system status against the SAP_BASIS with level 15.

Now I have imported the SAP ABAP level 15 (previously at level 14) and also confirmed it successfully. But then the status of SAP ABAP does not reflect this new Support Pack(i.e SAP _ABAP Still shows Level 14 ONLY & not Level 15.)

I cross-checked for the import logs and found the SP 15 for SAP ABAP has been imported successfully.

The same stands for SAP BW 14 and 15 Level.

Now I am unable to verify and resolve why the Support pack imports are not being updated in the System-status.

Please do revert back to me as soon as possible.

Hi Premkishan,

Based on your statements, you need to verify plug-ins. Some times they are interdependent.

Standard practice for applying pakcages should be ABAP, BASIS then others other way around is let the system pick it up and select the queue.
