Hi All,

In  My oraganization using  Data services 4.2 sp1 (patch4 ) is compatible to SQL server 2012

The current version of Data Service we use is 4.2 SP 1 (Patch 4) and our metadata is on SQL Server 2008.

DBA’s are planning to upgrade tcsqlreportsdb (where metadata resides) from 2008 to 2012.

Can you do some research and see if the current version of Data Services is compatible for SQL server 2012.

Thanks,

kris.

That info is readily available in the DS PAM (Product Availability Matrix) accessible from the SAP ONE Support Launchpad (SAP Emergency Contact Details).

SQL Server 2012 is supported from DS 4.2 SP01.

SQL Server 2012 SP2 is supported from DS 4.2 SP04.

Hi Dirk,

Thanks for replaying an email. I have some doubts below the question.

The current version of Data Service we use is 4.2 SP 1 (Patch 4) and our metadata is on SQL Server 2008.Can you do some research and see if the current version of Data Services is compatible for SQL server 2012.

I know the Data services support to SQL server 2012 . what about metadata?

Thanks,

That's what I meant.

According to the PAM, support of 2012 as source and target is from SP03, of 2012SP2 from SP04.
