Hi
I have a client on SAP version 9.1 PL04.
Two of their machines this morning when logging on first thing had error message "Failed to Connect to System landscape Directory: Please contact your administrator"
Other machines unaffected.
We restarted SLD and Licence Manager without any change.
Remembering the Security Certificate problem a while ago we looked to see if there were any recent updates and there were. The machines that were working did not have these updates.
We removed these updates and the user could login to SAP again.
Yes, my customers have the same issue also. It is windows update KB3172605 affected.

Hi,
Uninstall Windows update KB3172605 if you can't see the databases. You can refer to SAP Note 2334025 if the issue is with the certificate. Also, disable windows updates and proceed with an upgrade to SAP 9.2 (SAP's recommendation).
By upgrading to SAP 9.2, it doesn't mean though that Microsoft will not release another update that will corrupt SAP.

Hi,
Check the content of the b1-local-machine.xml in C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One DI API\Conf and C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One\Conf.

The SERVER should correspond to the LicenceServer name.
