auth check with events in se54

Hi all,

I have a maint. view with a subset field (set as 'S').

My task is to restrict display \ edit of the inner lines of the view upon a table  contain the subset field + auth.group.

if the user is  permit to display - we should enter the main table in a display mode.

if he doesn't have any permeation - no lines should be displayed.

if he has an edit  - no action need to be taken.

Can I do it using events?

I'm open to other answers too...

Thank you,

koby

There is a table event Individual authorization checks for auth checks.

Please check if that will be useful for you.

Thanks,

Hi,

thank you for your quick reply.

Did you mean event 25 ?

Do you know where can I find documentation about the events?

Koby,

Yes, I meant event 25. The below document has details on table maintenance generator events and how to create them.
