Hiding Keyfigures in Navigation Panel DS1.6

Hi Experts,

After searching in scn, could not find any help for the below problem.

In my source Bex query, i have a formula(Formula1) which is getting manipulated based on couple of Selections underneath(say, Selection1 and Selection2). Formula1 is "Always Show". Selection1 and Selection2 are "Hide(Can be shown)". What i need to show in the crosstab is Formula1 only. Its easy to achieve it in Datasource Initial View. But the Navigation Panel shows all the keyfigures(those are hide(can be shown)) from Bex. So from user perspective those Selection keyfigures are not needed and it creates confusion for them. Is there any way or workaround with which we can hide the unwanted keyfigures in the Navigation Panel in DS1.6 ? In the Nav.Panel properties, I could see that there is a provision to choose the required dimension but not the required keyfigures. Only the Keyfigure structure name(header) is visible there.

When i searched in forum, i dint get any help other than the below which is little different problem.

I don't see a way to do this.

There is a similar (but not exactly the same) idea here on Idea Place:
