Analysis for Office is not installing correctly, The Add-In is not appearing in the ribbon. I am getting a excel file with code appearing, and I can get the add-in to configure.
First of all EPM_Add-in_NET45_x64.exe is not the AO installation it's a separate EPM Add-In installation!
Do you have previous version of AO installed? Remove it...

Ok, I downloaded a fresh version of my EPM_Add-in_Net45_x64.exe. I uninstalled all past versions and attempts to run the file. After installing the EPM add-in, the add-in appeared in the disabled add-in group in excel. (This was good news, past install attempts did yield this result) Under the options tab, I switched the add-in from disabled to active , all good so far. I closed then reopened excel and received the following message.
"The file format and extension of 'FPMXLClient.Shim.dll don't match. The file could be correupted or unsafe. Unless you trust it source, don't open it. Do you want to open it anyway?
The EMP function does not appear in the tool bar and I get an excel worksheet filled with symbol code.

Hi Martin
Either wrong version (64-bit addin into 32-bit Excel) or some library that EPM uses cannot be found on your machine

Sorry for the confusing - After I run the install .exe EPM_Add-in_NET45_x64.exe. and the install finishes, and I go into Excel to activate the EPM add-In so I can access my data source, BPC created objects and create reports. I get an error saying that the add-in "file is corrupt", or if I do not get the error, excel opens a worksheet with symbol code that reads this "file can not be run in Dos". excel is telling me that it does not recognize the EPM.Dll file.
I am currently on MS Office 2013, SAP BPC EPM Add-In is not working with excel.
FPMxlclient.shim file appears in my add-ins window under the developer tab, but selecting it does activate the add-in.
