HTTP 403 - Forbidden - SOLMAN WORKCENTER

Hi Gurus,

I am trying to create a new system in solman workcenter under solman administration --> solutions.

I keep getting the error :

URL call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note The termination occurred in system with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.

What can I do? Please select a valid URL. HTTP 403 - Forbidden Your SAP Internet Communication Framework Team

I have attached a screen shot of the error

Please help!!!

Hi Adelola,

As per your screenshot it seems there is no solution existing in the system.

It also means the solman_setup basic configuration is not done yet.

Could you please complete

In the first step of Basic configuration wizard it will ask you to create a new Solution and this can only be done once the SLD and LMDB sync is finished in System Preparation wizard.

Thanks for your reply.

I started the system preparation process as indicated in your message but when i get to activating the new solman_admin user i keep getting an error from the browser and the whole process just truncates.

Do you know what could be the reason and how to overcome it?

Your login user does not have proper authorization..

Hi Adelola,

Switch to change mode by clicking Edit and then click Create all Users.

Additionally, for missing roadmap, please refer to SAP notes 1803364 – Flash content is not displayed in browser – All web based SAP and SAP BusinessObjects products and 1839388 – SOLMAN_SETUP hangs because the browser do not support Adobe Flash.

Hi,

You should have at least below roles..

Or else it is better to use DDIC equivalent SAP_ALL role user for the setup.

As per the standard it is recomended not to use DDIC user, always use a copy of DDIC user which has similar authorization to DDIC.

have you changed the default JAVA UME to 100 as per your case here.
