Formula workaround for 1000 parameter limit?

Hi All

Currently the majority of my reports consists of parameters that contain 1000 and more values, and as we all know Crystal has a limit of 1000

I currently use an array made in my stored procedure, for this purpose.

Will it be possible to have my formula, which is used for the array, amended to have it split in multiple segments of 1000 each?

If the array is split in multiple 1000 segments, surely it should be possible to select more than 1000 parameter values to filter a report on.

Currently the error I'm getting when more than 1000 values are selected for my parameter is:

"an array's dimension must be an integer between 1 and 1000"

This is the formula I'm currently using which is linked to my parameter:

dim i as number

dim aEmpList() as string

for i = 1 to Ubound({?EMPLOYER})

Redim Preserve aEmpList(i)

aEmpList(i) = {?EMPLOYER}(i)

next i

Formula = Join(aEmpList,",")

Any help much appreciated, thank you!

    Hi Charl,

    Instead of using an array, have you simply tried:

    Join({?EMPLOYER},",")
