IsAnyHebrew in powerbuilder 12.5

Hi,

I'm trying to use the func above on input that i getting from my user.

but even when he don't use any hebrew char the function still returning true !!

any suggestion ?

    Hi Eyal;

    Yes, I get the same improper result in PB 12.6. It looks to me that the method has a bug in it. If there are any spaces in the textual data .. you always get a TRUE return code no matter what characters the user enters.

    I found a workaround this morning that seemed to work for me. By replacing all the SPACES in the input text and then running this through the IsAnyHebrew () method, it seems to work properly, as follows:

    Here is the code segment I used ...

    Int li_pos

    String ls_data

    ls_data = Data

    li_pos = POS (ls_data, " ")

    DO while li_Pos > 0

    ls_data = Replace (ls_Data, li_pos, 1, "")

    li_pos = POS (ls_data, " ")

    LOOP

    IF isanyhebrew (ls_data) = TRUE THEN

    MessageBox ("Hebrew", "Found!")

    else

    MessageBox ("Hebrew", "NOT Found!")

    END IF
