Fiscal year variant XX is not maintained for calendar year 2015

I have copied my Chart of Depreciation from standard 0GB. Now I am trying to assign the chart of depreciation to my company code in OAOB. But I am getting Error FGV002 - Fiscal year variant XX is not maintained for calendar year 2015. My FYV is Year-dependent but start on Jan 1 and end on Dec 31. I have checked the settings in OB29 and OB37. It is correct.

I do not want to use a different FYV for FI and AA.

I have generated the period control rules as well for FYV - XX for 2015, 2016, 2017 in Tcode OA84.

I am working on S4HANA - New Asset Accounting, but does that be any cause for this error?

Please share your views ASAP.

Arjun, you will be able assign the CoD to Co.code if you maintain the Fiscal Year Variant XX for the year 2014. 15, and 16. Maintain the period data in 2014 and 2015 just like the way you have maintained it and then assign the CoD to Co.code. It will work.

Is the start and end date of the fiscal year same every year ? eg : jan 1 to dec 31. If yes, why do you need a year-dependent fiscal year?

Why is it asking for 2015 and no other Calendar Year like 2016 or 2014?
