Hi Experts,
I am unable to register agent in the HANA system in order to enable the data provisioning into HANA Database. I have performed following steps for this by following below link
SAP HANA Academy - Smart Data Integration/Quality: Twitter Replication Pt 1 of 3 [SPS09] - YouTube
Step 1: Data Provisioning Agent Installation
Step 2: Perform HANA Server connection:
Step 3: Perform Agent Registration
Note: For the Agent Host name I tried two combination of name but getting same error for both.
Getting below Error during agent registration
Note:
“AGENT ADMIN” Role is also assigned for the “SYSTEM” user.
manikunj.kausal Could you solve your problem? I have the same error, I am connected by VPN to an onpremise system, and the agent is on my computer

Hi Manikunj, is your HANA database onPremise, or on HCP ?
In the case of HCP, you should use the "HANA on cloud" checkbox, which will switch to HTTPS mode so that you don't need to bother about tunneling, open firewall port, etc. Instructions here:
If you do want to use a native (non-HTTPS) connection to your HANA database, you need to make sure that your HANA database is able to connect to the "Agent Hostname". So instead of "manikunj-PC", you might need to use the full domain name ("manikunj-PC.domain.com" or so) or the even use the IP address of your agent machine to be sure.
Thanks,
Ben.
