Java Connector

Good day everyone, hope someone can help me .

Someone told me that in SAP Business One before there was a Java Connector, but no longer can be used or no longer stand, I have recently seen examples where this Jar is used for direct connection to SAP and to create or edit SAP objects.

Someone could help me confirm? I would like to use it in Web or desktop applications in Java.

I use SAP Business One version 9.1
