ESS Who's Who Configuration

Former Member

Hi,

Can anybody tell me how to configure the ESS Who's Who iview?

For example, it is currently returning the "Extension" of the users when I run the search. I want it to return the full "Telephone" number instead.

There should be an IMG screen "ESS Who's Who: Maintenance Screen for Settings" but I can't seem to find it.

Can anyone help?

Hi Basant,

If you are on the ITS Version of ESS then the Transaction PZ01C can be used to customize Whos Who.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. However, I am using the ESS 60.2. This is the WebDynpro version of ESS.

The solutions recommended so far (although helpful) deal with ITS version of ESS or the iview which comes together with Knowledge Management.

My scenario is different.

Thanks,

Hi Basant,

Webdynpro based Who's who make use of customiszing done at pz01c, so if you can create your custom infoset query (copy of standard /SAPQUERY/HR_XX_PA_ESS) and add you field for tele number where you have full number stored.

You have to add that filed in selection/list/detail fields in pz01c. dont fiirget to assign it to correct country grouping.

Hope this helps.
