disp+work.exe in yellow status following session disconnect.

Hello all,

I am using CAL on Microsoft Azure (i.e. IDES SAP enhancement package 7 SP3 for SAP ERP 6.0 on MS SQL Server Enterprise Edition).

My SAP GUI sessions gets disconnected very often. Please see example error message attached. I also get "connection refused" error.

Logging in the virtual Windows server desktop, I noticed one consistent problem. One of two SAP servers (please see attached screenshot) is often colored yellow and is in "STARTING" state. I found the server in this condition every time connection issues occurred.

Please let me know your thoughts and thank you for your help in advance.

Best,

Sasa M.

P.S. Looking at previous questions and answers which are similar, I noticed it would help if I uploaded dev_w0 or any other work process trace. I am not a basis person so I do not know how. I will be glad to if someone provides instructions.

Hi Sasa,

The screenshot shows error:
"Connection to partner '<hostname>:sapdp00' broken"

Return code 10054 (WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer) means that the connection was interupted by the communication partner or an active network component between.

You should check dispatcher trace file (dev_disp trace) from <hostname>, instance number 00 at that timestamp (Thu Feb 09 09:28:03 2017) to see if there was any problem.

Regards,
Raquel
