List of reservation Created with reference to Production Orders

Hi All,

We transfer raw material from our storage location (say 0010 ) to our production floor (say 0020) by creating a reservation with the movement type 311 and the post transfer posting for that reservation in MIGO. But we now want to transfer material from storage location to production floor with reference to production order. because there must me a reference of production order as evidence that tells Why we transferred XYZ quantity of material to production floor. I have also created a reservation through MF60 (material staging).

Hi Muhammad,

MF60 allow you to check what qty available on Production storage location and  will deduct from your production order Reservation qty

No production order reference is maintain in the Material document posted . it is still 311 movement type 311 and it doesn't generate any FI document.

If you wish to issue material , you can use CO27 to issue material to Production oder . It is 261 movment type and will generate FI document. you dun need to do Backflush in this case.

As you are asking you want to transfer the material through reservation with reference to production order.. as suggested by forum members you can't do this in standard..

the work around i.e. hope you are transferring the material through MB1B 311 Movement so please enter the production order number in the document header text, same  cab be stored in the table

through that header text you can be able to track

Hi, 311 movement is Transfer posting storage location (one-step) and it will not have the PO ref. You can create reservation through MF60 for that PO and do the 311 movement against the PO no which you can have it for your ref. Thanks Kishan

Please tell is there any report or any other way in which i can see reservations created for a production order though MF60 with mvt type 311?

You can try for MB25 report for the reservation List.

Hi sandeep,

I have already followed that document and created reservation with MF60. But I am unable to see the of reservation (with mvt type 311) when i entered production order no in MB25. However I was able to see that reservation when I did not provide Order No. in MB25. plz tell in which report or any method with which i can see the reservation (with mvt type 311) if enter production order no.

Hi,

MF60 doesn't create reservation. It creates the material document. that's the reason you can't see

And if you create reservation using MB21 and enter movement type 311, you cannot enter production numeer

ok if a material Document is created for storage location to production floor transfer, in which report can i see that material document created with reference to production order.

It doesn't copy production order in material document. essentially it is MB1b type of traxn

MF60 just used in front end to do calculation, but no difference to using MB1B

Hi,

You can see the material document in coois(Discrete) cooispi(process) report by selecting document goods movement in header & provide the production order no as input.

Hi Ahsan, I don't think there is any report for MF60. Again as i said the PO no will not be referenced against the reservation so the only way is to enter the PO no as ref at the time of goods movement. Thanks Kishan

There is no direct link between the transfer reservation and the production order, even when using MF60.
