Fin planning default view expanded

Is there any possibility to set the Default view in the fin planning with selected fin Groups or views expanded ?

Can you check global setting under : SPRO -> Portfolio Management -> Global Customising -> Global Settings -> Check Global Settings

Then check SAP entry for AREA 6 (User Interface Settings) and NAME 16

Should already be set. Is it not? If not you can override this under the node "Override Default Global Settings"

Is this what you are looking for ?

In the check global Settings and in the override Default Settings, it is already X. further the requirement is , some selected Groups/views should be preexpanded.

I am not sure this would work, but you can try update the component configuration for webdynpro configuration/personalisation component /rppm/wda_fin_cap_planning_cgf

We normally update the standard dashboards etc though admin mode. I have not tested whether the above component can be personalised - i.e. you go in via admin mode and expand the levels you want and save that as a global default. Perhaps you can investigate

Hi Lin,

It seems we cannot pre-expand certain View/Category while loading Fin Plan Dashboard.

But if I may suggest, you can create filters on View/Category/Group which shows only important data when Fin Plan Dashboard is loaded.

Then user can change the filter to "All" if complete set of data is required.

Hello Aditya,

it's not that i dont Need some fin Groups at all. the requirement is most useful Groups should be expanded and clearly visible when the fin pla is opened and the others should be collapsed. if i will use filters i will have to completely set some Groups as invisible which is not the requirement.
