Is it possible to combine channels in Marketing Campaigns (e-mail + SMS)?

Dear experts,

I'm investigating on the possibility to reproduce in C4C the following case:

- create a multi step e-mail campaign

-step 1: send email template

-step 2: if the email is unopened for one week, then send sms to "unopened" contacts.

I'm not sure this can be done in some extent in c4c, I thought that first of all the sms channel should be selected in campaign, but i get always the same result: at second step, the "send SMS" action is never available.

have you any suggestion? Also please let me know if this is not applicable at all.

Kind regards

Rosalia

    Hi Rosalia,

It is not possible to have email and sms in a single campaign. This is how it is designed.

You can create a new SMS activity on condition that the email is unopened.

This is because a single campaign is specific to a channel type. It can be either Email or SMS.

    Hi Rosalia,

If your system is set up to support it you create multistep campaign on the Built tab with defining the different

marketing steps. There you can combine the triggers and actions. The unavailable triggers are greyed out

    automatically

I dont think so you can have two channels like email and SMS here please create ticket and check the feasability.

    Regards,

    Suresh
