Rules not generated for all function/Risks IDs in GRC 10.0

Hi All,

We are on GRC 10.0 with 13 SP level, when we are generating rules, rules are generating for few risk/function IDs only, for other risks/functions we are able to generate when we save the functions manually from workcenter. Can you please let us know how to generate rules for all functions/risks.

Are you checking the GRC tables? GRACACTRULE? where exactly are you checking to confirm if the rules have been generated or not?

Yes, I am checking GRACACTRULE table but I couldn't find all RisksIDs in this table.

Hi,

So, for the Risk that is not generated, could you select the same in NWBC, and generate it. Then you can click Confirm and see the generated rules.

you may have to look into the functions of these non-generated risks. could you provide the screenshots.

Hi Pravin,

Use the path SPRO -> SAP Ref IMG -> GRC -> AC -> ARA -> Generate SOD rules and specify the Risk ID as * and execute the program in FG or BG.

Tcode GRAC_GENERATE_RULES can also be used.

Rules can also be generated from NWBC-> Set up-> Access Risks . Select All and use the Generate Rules button in FG or BG.

You can check the generated rules for Risk ID(s) in GRACACTRULE table or NWBC -> Set up -> Generated Rules -> Access Rule Detail

Hi IndraKumar,

I have done as you said, but rules were not generated. When we open the Functions in NWBC and save the function and then able to generate the rules for those functions and risks.

for eg: I open 2 fucntions FUNC1, FUNC2 and open them in NWBC and save them without changing anything, then I am able to generated the rules for a risk coming from these 2 functions.

When you say rules were not generated is there any error or dump?

Posting few screenshots will be helpful in analyzing the issue.

Hi Indra,

It is not giving any error or dump, I am scheduling the job with required Risks IDs and job completes successfully, but  I am not able to see all Risks IDs in GRACACTRULE table.

I couldn't find any clue to investigate.
