Hi All,
We have plant A & B
We would like the production order to be created in plant A, but the Goods receipt to be done in plant B.
Entering a "Planning Plant" when creating a production order allows this.
How can I make Plant B default as the planning plant for particular materials in plant A?
We do NOT want to change the the default for all materials in plant A.
Ideally this would default when converting a planned order into a production order as MRP will be generating planned orders
Thanks
Hi ,
there are two ways to do this
1) Define Proc Type F and Spl Proc type 40 Stock transfer in Plant B and Proc type E in plant A. since you want Goods receipt in Plant B , Sales order demand would be in Plant B as well and DO invoice in plant B. Production process will be in Plant A
2) You can use SPl Proc type 80- Production in alt plant in material master of Plant B. Proc type=E in both plant
It works exactly same as I except, there are no Stock transfer PO to transfer stock from plant A to B.. i
MRP will create relevant Stock transfer PR and plan order , if setting is maintain correclty
Hope it helps
