Complex design of a Report with Groups

Hi Developers,

The Requirement is to build a PDF report with the below format. They want 2 Similar reports in a Single Report which has Similar Heading but the data changes. Can anyone help me out with the design.

I tried to implement the requirement with Groups but it doesn't came as I expected .Please find the below attachment for reference.

What are group 1 and group 2?  If you can combine things so that you only have a single group where 1 is one value and 2 is the other, you can get the format you're looking for.

Hi Dell,

The requirement is to build a report like the below format.

- Page Header

- Group Header - 1a

                Detail Section A

   Group Footer - 1a

- Group Header - 1b

                Detail Section B

   Group Footer - 1b

- Page Footer

Can you explain me how to split the detail Section along with the Specific Group Header.

When I'm trying to do it. The Group header and Footer are nested along with the Detail Section.

- Page Header

- Group Header - 1a

- Group Header - 1b

                Detail Section A

                Detail Section B

- Group Footer - 1a

- Group Footer - 1b

- Page Footer

How many groups do you have on the report?  You should only have one.  What field(s) are you grouping on?

Can you attach a screen shot of the design view?
