Blocking STO only from a specific storage location

Good afternoon.

I have the following requirement:

I need to prevent all materials belonging to a specific storage location (ie 2000) not to be able to execute Stock Transport Order,

but to be able to make any other movement (ie sales, delivery, etc). How is that possible, if it is at all?

Best regards,

Nikos

    Hi,

How is your MM organization structure designed and from business front what is represented by your storage location?

Alternatively you can create a purchasing group and restrict STO creation( by having separate STO PO document type and with authorization concept control STO creation for new purchasing group- discuss with basis team) for particular business unit, if any!

      Hello Juergen.

I do accept and honour your dissagreement, but this solution that i marked as correct did actually work. I have set it up in the development environment, and it works fine. So, i assume, system does check this object.

      Best personal regards,

      Nikos

add an enhancement in PO BADI: ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST

    At Closing Check Method(IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~CHECK)

or Processing of Item data (IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~PROCESS_ITEM)

Ensure, specific storage location in the line item is not used.

    Thanks

    Anand

    Please check this standard option,

    1) Activate authorisation check for storage locations using function, OLMB --> Authorisation management

    2) Use authorisation object M_MSEG_LGO, field name : BWART to restrict movement types which used for stock transfer (EX: 301, 641)
