Pre-Requisites for HANA certification

Hi

I am SAP SD consultant and interested for appearing in HANA Application consultants Certification. Please suggest regarding pre-requisites for certification along with certification cost.I searched the forum and read that atleast 1 year work experience in HANA is required to appear for exams. Is it true? Is there any way that one can appear for certification without prior experience in HANA?

You can search C_HANAIMP151 in https://training.sap.com about the information required to get this certificate.

Just wanted to understand, C_HANAIMP151 cover HANA modelling part? I am advised by someone that since I am functional consultant, HANA modelling will be best suited for me. Is it correct or there are any other modules which I can opt for?

Yes, C_HANAIMP151 is for application consultant within HANA modeling part. You can find the detailed information in https://training.sap.com/shop/certification/c_hanaimp151-sap-certified-application-associate---sap-h....

In my personal view, since you are a SD consultant, maybe it is better to take the new SD certificate of S/4HANA.

You should have experience in HANA more than 3 years.

You should have to work with company which is SAP partner/customer.
